The new, more compact Channel Monster CMD1205-AD is the perfect protector for small pump stations and influent channels everywhere. No one else offers this much grinding power, with this much flow in this small of a footprint.
The unit’s design is similar to the current channel monster products, but unit employs a new 127mm diameter “drum” to direct solids into the cutting chamber, allowing installation in channels as narrow as 356mm. This new model prefers at the level of taller 500mm two shafted grinders.
It requires 33% less cutters than the 500mm grinder resulting in significant savings over the life of the unit. The drums are available with either 6mm coil spacing or 6mm perorations. The coil drums can be modified to have upto 70% open area for increased flow performance. A 2.2kW motor with a 25:1 reducer is standard an optional 4.0kW motor can be added for the toughest grinding installations.
