Yates Borehole Master
The Yatesmeter Borehole Monitoring System logs all the information you need and displays it on one unit.

Engineers need to have the figures at their fingertips. The Yates Borehole Master provides the information needed - to new levels of accuracy. In addition to measuring the overall 'wire to water' efficiency, the Yates Borehole Master assesses motor loss to obtain individual efficiencies for the pump and motor. These features mean that, in our view, the Yates Borehole Master cannot be matched for quality and price.
The Yates Borehole Master outputs the following parameters.
- Pumped Flow Overall Efficiency
- Input Power Pump Efficiency
- Discharge Head Motor Efficiency
- Discharge Head kWh consumed
- Total Head Hours Run
- Power Factor
Yates Borehole Master
The Yates Borehole Master offers a cost effective method for recording all parameters required to produce in-depth analysis of borehole pumping.
The system is connected to existing Borehole instrumentation to reduce the cost of monitoring to a minimum. Sites without existing instrumentation are provided with suitable equipment.
Generally the Borehole Master will consist of the following:
Standard System
- Data Acquisition Unit
- Delivery Pressure transducers
- Suction Pressure transducers
- 4-20mA input for flow
- Power Meter
Network Linking
The Borehole Master can be easily integrated into a network system. Data can be sent via serial link providing a seamless interface between the Borehole Master and SCADA systems or PLC's.

Yates Flowmeter

Inexpensively Installed Flowmetering
Compared to its competitors the Yates Flowmeter is simply and inexpensively installed.
Yatesmeter thermodynamic technology allows the Yates Flowmeter to calculate flow to accuracies of within 1%.
The Yates Flowmeter
- Easily and inexpensively installed
- Calculates flow measurement to within uncertainties of better than 1%
- Does not require long lengths of straight pipe work
- Does not require an external chamber
- Installed without having to cut pipework and close down operations
- Comes complete with display and telemetry interface
Display
- Local LCD, Remote Serial Analogue.
Accuracy
For pumped heads above 25m the accuracy of the complete installation is typically within 1%. This high level of accuracy is maintained throughout the full output flow range even at very low flows.
Long Term Performance
Investment into quality instrumentation and improved levels of manufacture and inspection ensure a product that is accurate and reliable over a long timescale. Validation software ensures performance is always within acceptable limits and indicates immediately if this is not the case.
Calibration and periodical checks can be carried out without affecting the station's operation, unlike many flowmeters which require volumetric testing or even to be removed and returned to the manufacturer. Maintaining a high level of accuracy can be achieved quickly and easily either by the customer or through a Yatesmeter Service Agreement.

Yates Convertional eff.monitor

The Yates 2000 Series Conventional Efficiency Meter and Panametrics PT868 are a unique combination which will allow the user to perform a comprehensive analysis of their pumping plant. With the iminent introduction of the Climate Change Levy pumping efficiency will prove to be of utmost importance.
The Yates 2000 Series CEM measures pump head and input power and combines this with the flow signal from a Panametrics PT868 to calculate the efficiency. The pump performance data is logged by our PumpTest software (included) and stored for future reference. With the addition of PumpGrafx (optional), the recorded data can be correlated and displayed in a graphical format which aids diagnosis of possible pump performance problems.
